A Holistic Health Coach is a person who is certified as both a holistic nutritionist and health and wellness coach. 

 A holistic health coach uses an integrative approach to lifestyle, diet, and fitness changes in order to help clients achieve their health goals. Most importantly, holistic health coaches look beyond diet and exercise in order to evaluate and create an overarching plan based on a client’s psychological, spiritual, social, and physical goals.   


There are many reasons why working with a Certified Holistic Health Coach is a good idea. For some clients, it's as simple as wanting to stop eating the standard American diet of processed foods and they benefit from guidance and recommendations. 

Then there are the clients who are often diagnosed with one or more of the following:

  • Cardiovascular problems, including high blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Prediabetes or diabetes
  • Obesity 
  • Digestive issues


Lifestyle diseases are ailments that are primarily due to the day-to-day habits of people. Habits that discourage a healthy diet, keep people from activity and push them toward a sedentary routine can cause a number of health issues commonly called lifestyle diseases. 


When a client receives one of the above diagnoses, or they just want to make some changes to start living a healthier lifestyle, by working with a Holistic Health Coach, they can learn new dietary and lifestyle habits that may alleviate or reverse many of the common lifestyle diseases we see today. 

Ultimately clients see the best possible outcomes when they choose to form a team with their primary healthcare provider and a holistic health practitioner.


Certified Holistic Coaches have been proven to improve clients' quality of life, raise their spirits, help them see and feel physical health improvements, increase their emotional well-being, and feel less stressed.

A Certified Holistic Coach will take the time to get to know their clients on a personal level, make them feel heard, and adjust their recommendations to meet each client's unique needs. They also work hard to ensure that their clients will be well equipped to make these improvements last long-term.

As a holistic healthcare practitioner, I do not prescribe medications.

If a client wishes to reduce or eliminate medications, a health coach can recommend dietary and lifestyle modifications that may improve overall health, therefore reducing the need for, or amount of medication an individual needs.


If you wish to get off medications, you must inform and work with your prescribing physician to create a plan on how to appropriately and safely discontinue or alter the dosage of any medication. 


Yes! I work with many clients via email, phone or telehealth/video communication. 




Results are different for each client and based on different things so there isn't a straight answer for this question. 

Improvement may be seen within a few days after starting a program or may take up to a few months.  

When the client follows the recommendations, positive effects in the body can be see rather quickly. Typically, clients begin to see improvements in as little as 3-4 weeks.


That is up to you. Some clients just want basic guidance and direction while they start to implement healthier dietary and lifestyle modifications. I would typically recommend monthly follow up visits for these clients.

Other clients like the accountability factor and thrive with weekly or bi-monthly follow-up sessions.
